Industrial water treatment

ETP Plant Manufacturer

Integrated physical, chemical and biological treatment for industrial wastewater, with process selection based on actual effluent analysis and operating goals.

Industrial effluent treatment plant process equipment
ETP engineering combines wastewater chemistry, process design, chemical dosing, biological treatment and solids handling.

Engineering approach

Start with the wastewater chemistry

ETP performance depends on the wastewater matrix. pH, COD, BOD, TSS, oil and grease, colour, nutrients, salinity and toxicity can change the right treatment train. We recommend laboratory testing and jar trials before finalising chemical programmes or biological loading.

  • Water & wastewater analysis
  • Jar testing
  • pH correction
  • Coagulation & flocculation
  • Biological treatment
  • Clarification
  • Sludge management
  • Disinfection & reuse

3Coagulation / flocculation
4Primary clarification
5Biological treatment
6Secondary clarification
7Polishing / disinfection

Design & operating considerations

Equalisation

Balances flow and pollutant load so downstream treatment sees a more stable feed.

Chemical treatment

Coagulant and flocculant selection should be validated by jar testing rather than guessed from generic dose rates.

Biological stage

Aeration, nutrient balance, MLSS/DO and sludge wasting must match the wastewater and required removal.

Polishing

Filtration, activated carbon, disinfection or membrane polishing can be added when reuse or tighter quality is required.

Applications

  • Textile and dyeing
  • Food and beverage
  • Pharmaceutical and chemical
  • Engineering and metal finishing
  • Paper and process industries
  • Industrial wastewater recycling

Support

Aqua Chem Labs can support commissioning, operator guidance, water testing, chemical programmes, troubleshooting and AMC for existing ETPs as well as new systems.

Final equipment configuration, chemical dosing and operating targets should be based on actual water analysis, plant load and applicable discharge/process requirements.

Frequently asked questions

What information is needed for ETP design?

A recent wastewater analysis, flow profile, production/process description, peak load information and the intended discharge or reuse quality are the best starting points.

Can an existing ETP be upgraded?

Often yes. An audit can identify hydraulic bottlenecks, aeration limitations, poor chemical selection, sludge problems or missing polishing stages before recommending modifications.

Do you provide ETP chemicals?

Yes. Chemical programmes should be selected against actual wastewater chemistry and confirmed with jar testing or controlled plant trials.
